PRIVATE COMMISSIONS

Your tabletop character, your MMO main, your original character, or you in the middle of the story.

I've spent my career painting covers, characters, and concept art for tabletop publishers, video games, editorial clients, and theme parks, and drawing storyboards for film and advertising. Clients include Chaosium, Kenzer & Company, Kobold Press, and Monte Cook Games. I take a small number of private commissions each month.

WHAT YOU CAN COUNT ON

- No surprise prices. Starting prices are below. If your idea needs more work, I quote the final price before anything starts, and once quoted it doesn't change.

- You see it before I paint it. You approve the pencils first, and likeness is checked at that stage.

- Half now, half when you're happy. 50% deposit to start, balance after you approve the final.

- A real timeline. Usually 3 to 6 weeks, with an update at each stage.

DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION (single character, starting at) Bust: $110 B&W / $200 color Half body: $160 / $300 Full body: $270 / $500 Additional character: +$80 / +$160 Simple background: +$80 / +$160 Detailed backgrounds and multi-character scenes: quoted These are starting prices for a typical piece. Heavy armor, intricate costumes, or extra detail can raise the price, and I'll quote it before anything starts. PUT YOURSELF IN THE STORY One cinematic frame in the same storyboard style I use for film and advertising clients, with you or your friends in the scene. Digital frame: $165 B&W / $330 color Hand-drawn original: $330 / $660, plus shipping Sequential work is available on request and quoted separately.

TRADITIONAL ORIGINALS

Graphite, pen and ink, gouache, markers, or acrylic, priced at double the digital rate plus shipping.

Bust on 8x10: from $220 B&W / $400 color

Half body on 11x14: from $320 / $600

Full body on 11x17: from $540 / $1,000

HOW IT WORKS

1. Order on Gumroad, or send the request form.

2. I confirm your brief and final price within a few days.

3. A 50% deposit locks your slot.

4. Pencils: one round of changes, then you approve.

5. Color: one round of minor changes, then you approve.

6. Pay the balance and get your files, or your original ships.

Major changes after approval (pose, face, costume, composition) and extra rounds cost extra, quoted before I start.

Two slots a month. When they're full, join the waitlist through the request form. Nothing is paid until your slot opens.

Not for me: NSFW, explicit, or fetish work, furry, or anything I'm not comfortable with. I can decline any request.

All prices in USD. Canadian residents add 5% GST on direct invoices. Personal use only. A short agreement is signed before work begins.
